About The Park

Hendwr 16

Hendwr Caravan Park lies at the foot of the Berwyn Mountain range on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between Corwen and Bala, in the beautiful Dee Valley.

Hendwr is a working family sheep and beef farm accessed via a tree lined driveway. The park is divided by a gently meandering stream.

The park provides the perfect place for a family holiday, a quick getaway or a weekend retreat.  The countryside surrounding the park provides stunning scenery and easily accessible from our farm.

We have a range of walks of differing levels which can be started from the park.  If you want to burn some real adrenaline we are half way between Coed Llandegla and Coed y Brenin, two of countries the best mountain bike courses and a stones throw from the Welsh white water centre.

River Dee Fishing

If it is fishing that floats your line the park is a five minute walk from the banks of the Dee one of the best rivers in Wales.

If that all sounds too much like hard work, why not sit back, relax and just enjoy the view.   We have plenty of local eateries and pubs locally and if you’re really lucky you may catch the male voice choir on a practice night.

Please remember that you are required to have a current Environment Agency licence.
